I'm turning 50 this April and so is Earth Day!

That's why I am helping make a difference for Wisconsin's environment by holding a Team Sierra fundraiser. Please consider joining me in a birthday celebration to honor and protect a safe and healthy environment!

The funds you donate will help protect the places we live, work and play by enabling the Sierra Club-John Muir Chapter to do things like:

• Protect our land, water, and air – from our backyards to the northwoods.
• Make the outdoors accessible for all of us.
• Advocate for the transition to clean energy.

My goal is $250, please help me reach my summit by making a small donation. And when you do, let me know why you care about doing good by nature in the “Words of Encouragement” box. I would love to hear from you!

I know the John Muir Chapter is going to take the funds we raise and use them to have the biggest impact possible on the issues we care about. This is important to me because the Sierra Club-John Muir Chapter is making our communities better – they’re protecting Wisconsin's natural places and working hard to ensure clean air and water for all. I want to help them succeed.

If you'd like to learn more about their mission, you can check out sierraclub.org/wisconsin, or participate in their campaigns at addup.org!

Thanks so much! Julie

P.S. I was amazed that Sierra Club has been saving our environment for the last 125 years and the Wisconsin chapter has been active for over 55 years! They are determined, focused, and need our help!

Naturally we see relief of environmental impact when humans are forced to slow down. Beware that this is temporary and commit to making significant changes going forward to bring all of life into balance. https://news.un.org/en/story/2020/04/1061082
