Clean water is critical for Wisconsin's ecosystems, our health and well-being, and for livelihood and recreation. That’s why our Water Team is working so hard to defend it from factory farm pollution and other contaminants, like lead and PFAS. But there is so much more yet to do, which is why we’re asking you to support our work which includes:
• Advocating for strong nitrate regulations in the state
• Opposing new and existing CAFOs (concentrated animal feeding operations)
• Calling for strong PFAS regulations and funding for lead pipe replacement
Your donation is an investment in protecting the places we live, work and play, and enables our dedicated volunteers and staff to represent and advocate for your interests. These funds will not only help us advocate for clean water, but also work to protect the places we love, advocate for clean energy, provide more equitable transit options, and work for a just future for all. Here are two examples of successes in the past year:
In the Wisconsin Conservation Congress, our team introduced a Clean Water resolution that was on the ballot in 24 counties, and passed in all 24!
After years of work and advocacy, Wisconsin now has regulations in place for some PFAS chemicals
Our team goal is $500 – and you can help us reach (or even surpass!) that by making a donation. And when you do, let us know why you care about nature in the “Words of Encouragement” box. We’d love to hear from you!
Funds raised will support the Wisconsin Chapter's work across the board. The Sierra Club Wisconsin Chapter is making our communities better – protecting Wisconsin's natural places and working hard to ensure clean air and water for all. When we succeed, Wisconsin succeeds.

Thanks so much!
