Clean water and healthy ecosystems are critical for Wisconsin's environment, our health and well-being, and for livelihood and recreation. And it's clear that we must work together to stop the worst impacts of climate change before they cause even more damage. That’s why our Tar Sands Team is working so hard to stop and shut down tar sands pipelines, and protect water, land and climate from spills and pollution. But there is so much more yet to do, which is why we’re asking you to support our work which includes:

• Pressuring Enbridge to shut down Line 5 in Wisconsin and raising awareness about Enbridge’s untrustworthiness
• Engaging in regulatory work, media work, and local organizing work with the end goal of shutting down Line 5
• Working in partnership with other groups and communities to protect waters and lands in the state put at risk by tar sands spills

Your donation is an investment in protecting the places we live, work and play, and enables our dedicated volunteers and staff to represent and advocate for your interests. These funds will not only help us advocate for clean water, but also work to protect the places we love, advocate for clean energy, provide more equitable transit options, and work for a just future for all. Here are some things our team has done in the past year:

Collected over 1,000 petition signatures and delivered them in style
Helped send over 2,000 comments to the Department of Natural Resources on an environmental review of Line 5, asking them not to permit the pipeline
Hosted a film screening of LN3: 7 Teachings of the Anishinaabe in Resistance
